SHELLY'S BACK!

All of you that are regulars know Michelle, or as she is better known, “Shelly.” She started at Bagels & Bites on November 3, 1999 and her laughter and quick wit became legendary. Being a hard worker and loyal person, Shelly became a fixture here, as well as the manager. You can imagine the sadness on December 21, 2011 when we learned that Shelly had been stricken with lung cancer.

Michelle went through surgery, chemotherapy and radiation since that day in December. Through all of it, she kept her cheery disposition. She wanted everyone to know how much she appreciated the prayers, cards, gifts, calls and concern over her situation. Because of all the concern, prayers, great medical care and good karma, Shelly’s doctors recently declared her “cancer free.”

Shelly is planning to return to work at Bagels & Bites on Wednesday,     June 27 at 9:00a.m.  We are thrilled to have her back. Stop in and say “hi!”
